Department of Energy

The level of development of a country relies on the amount of energy consumed. It is unfortunate to note that in most developing countries, it is still a dream for the majority of the people to have access to modern energy services. In spite of the considerable hydroelectric potential in some countries, particularly in West Africa, the production, transport and distribution of grid-connected electricity remain expensive due to the nature of load (long term problems of returns on investments due to low energy demand), particularly in rural areas.  Furthermore, despite the abundant potential of renewable energy resources (wind, solar, biomass), the use and application of renewable energy technologies are still hampered by inappropriate technology transfer, policy and planning framework.

The Department of Energy of Groupe Kamosale Inc intends to contribute to the socio-economic development in developing countries, through the promotion and diffusion of sustainable energy technologies, technology transfer, technical assistance, and capacity building.

Mission

The mission of the department is to:

  • Be a leader in the development and implementation of energy related projects and sustainable energy technology transfer

  • Preliminary feasibility studies

  • Planning and costs assessment

  • Technical assistance

  • Optimization of solutions

  • Technology Transfer

  • Engineering development work and specifications

  • Preparation of Guidelines / instructions for vendors

  • Follow up and verification with manufacturers and vendors

Specific projects may be implemented in short or medium terms in West African countries (Mali, Burkina Faso, Ghana, Niger, Senegal, Mauritania, Guinea, Togo, Benin, Ivory-Coast, Nigeria, etc..)

Goupe Kamosale Inc offers in Burkina Faso adapted instructional programs in mecanic, electromecanic and electrical systems. Each instruction module deals with a specific agreement protocol. Burkina Faso, in the midst of its research and development and other provided services, will call upon the expertise of Group Kamosale Inc.
